Cindy Hamel
Cindy leads the development and enablement for Osaic’s Empowered Independence (W2) channel. She also oversees potential M&A activity across all of Osaic’s affiliation models.
Career summary
With more than 30 years of wealth management industry experience, Cindy has an affinity for the financial advisor profession and is passionate about the work they do on behalf of millions of Americans. This passion, combined with inspiration from her father—who led by example and instilled in her a strong work ethic—has made her an industry-leading innovator in elevating customer experiences through leadership development, staffing and training, operational efficiencies, process improvement, and automation.
Cindy joined Osaic in 2016 after holding executive leadership roles at Cetera Financial Group, ING, and Aetna Financial Services.
She has a bachelor's degree in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in Management of Technology from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She also holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 licenses and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
