Finding your people & yourself: connection drives the growth of women at Osaic
Building a community for a specific audience with several different ways for a person to choose to participate is a critical factor in inclusion and accessibility. Osaic’s initiative for women – Women Forward – offers a signature event with in-person and virtual attendance, a private Facebook group 955+ members strong, and a 1-1 mentorship program.
Osaic’s EVP of Business Development and Executive Sponsor to the company’s Women Advisory Board, Kristen Kimmell, says “the women at Osaic impress me every single day. I get to witness how they support one another by sharing best practices and help each other solve challenges by sharing insights and lessons learned. Osaic may have built the foundation for this community, but the women have given it its power.”
After time, community is felt. It can’t be forced. It’s a feeling we achieve after we’ve participated in something in a way that’s meaningful to us.
There’s a first time for everything, and it could change your life.
