Empowering you to thrive
A message from Erinn Ford, EVP, Advisor Engagement
Valued Partners,
I hope you all are enjoying your summer as August ends. I am currently at my annual family reunion (we refer to our crew as the Griswolds) and prepping my mom emotions as my daughters head back to college (Alexa in her senior year at Gonzaga University and Makenna continuing her education pursuing an International Marketing Masters program in London).
For this month’s issue, I’d like to give more clarity on how we’re creating opportunities and resources to help you fully leverage and engage along the digital transformation journey.
First and foremost, our continued focus on a digital experience
Key takeaways from the Digital Transformation Town Hall
- We understand that the digital experience has not been smooth, and we have heard your feedback.
- We own our tech stack, which means we can prioritize your requested fixes and enhancements in a more agile way, and have the right team decked against solving quickly.
- We are committed to transforming our tech stack around you and what will help you drive value in your business.

Latest Improvements & Enhancements to eQuipt
Based upon your ongoing feedback we have made strides in improving your experience. August updates include:
- Supervision: You now have one place for all account supervision activity, including supervisors accepting cases and financial professionals responding to supervisors’ questions.
- ASP Integration: You can now consistently look up non-brokerage (direct to sponsor) business within the Annuity Submission Platform (ASP), streamlining annuity order entry.
- Client Definitions: Client definitions have been upgraded to avoid duplicates (only Rep and SSN are considered). Avoids client name spelling mismatches.
- Client Profile – e-mail optional: You can open client accounts without being required to input an e-mail address -- though e-mail inclusion still recommended.
- eSignature: Document Management folders automatically created at time of document generation, rather than after documents were signed. Users will have a more consistent experience when uploading both e-signed and wet-signed documents into Document Management.
Our next release will include top feedback items:
- Search: Ability to search by account number in New eQuipt added as an additional way to locate clients and accounts
- Registration: Non-Brokerage (NB) Estate Inherited Roth IRAs & Estate Inherited IRA’s will be supported for both NFS and Pershing. Advisors will soon be able to open multiple NB accounts per registration.
Send in your experience on eQuipt directly to our team with this feedback form.

Tech Enhancements & Business Opportunities
The technology you interface every day is vital to the success of your business and the service experience you deliver to your clients. Our teams are releasing fixes and enhancements daily and much of this is driven by your NOEC board and the comments you provide to us through email and our employees. Here’s a quick snapshot of summer enhancements:
- Easily manage your current state registrations in OneHub’s Registration Renewals section.
- Email addresses are no longer required to open an account using eQuipt, which you’ve told us is helpful with your older or elderly clients.
- Mutual fund lists for Advisory Pershing/NFS are easily accessible in OneHub.
- Your AUA results are available in real-time in OneHub, reflecting T+2 and replacing monthly snapshots, which reduce the need for custom date range reports.
- You can submit service requests online for eQuipt and track resolution status through Support Center.
