Osaic Foundation

Edition I: Q4 2023

A message from Lon Dolber

When people think about charity, they think about giving money or time. But it’s more than that. It’s about what that money does—and what that time spent leads to. It’s about relationships and community. And impact.

I couldn’t be more excited and prouder to introduce the Osaic Foundation. The Foundation brings together all the ways you—our financial professionals, institution programs, and employees—give back with intention in your communities.

My father who brought me into this business always said, “You have to lead with a servant’s heart.” Servant leaders are who we are, and though being active in charities and charitable activities isn’t new, we now aspire to something bigger.

The Osaic Foundation brings together the causes that are important to you to prioritize where we can have the most meaningful impact and make our communities—and relationships—even stronger. Our three pillars of focus include:

  • Empowering lives through experiential events that build thriving communities
  • Education with a focus on financial literacy
  • Increasing diverse representation through workforce development

Giving back to the community is something I’ve dedicated my life to—and I’m so humbled to continue leading this work with all of you as part of the Osaic Foundation.

Imagine the impact we’ll have—together.

The season of giving

Each year, Affiliated Advisors, approaches holiday giving in a way that honors their mission and values to improve the world we live in. In lieu of sending gifts to the clients they serve, they celebrate the holiday season by donating to organizations that have a special meaning to the Affiliated Advisors team.

“Giving back to others and to the organizations who provide dedicated assistance to improve specific socioeconomic issues is incredibly important,” said Rita Robbins, Affiliated Advisors President and Founder. “That’s why we dedicate the dollars we’d normally gift to clients during the holiday season to supporting charitable organizations that members of our team are involved in.”

Each year, staff members submit their organization of choice, along with why they’ve been chosen, which is then included in a holiday mailing to the firm’s clients, Rita said.

“We believe that the things that make you the riches are the things you do for others, and our clients always wholeheartedly appreciate the way we give—and gift—on their behalf during the holiday seasons.”

Some of the recent organizations they’ve contributed to in recent years include:

  • The Believe Project
  • Breaking Free
  • The Olivia Boccuzzi Foundation
  • Womankind
  • The American Diabetes Association
  • Tunnels to Towers
